Grades 7 and 8

Mr. Falk, also our School Principal, joined our staff in 1999. He has impacted a lot of change for the better here at St. John's and we all appreciate him.

Below he is teaching his 7th and 8th grade class (class of 2000). Below is a sample of one of the cool art projects that came out of Mr. Falk's classroom. They get to work on some creative projects!

Mr. Falk is a strong advocate of the Accelerated Reader Program, and works hard to keep both faculty and parents abreast of programs that can help them with the student's education and life skills.

A little about Mr. Falk:
- Attended WELS schools from K-12 in Milwaukee and High School in Appleton, WI.
- 1972 DMLC graduate with degree concentration in Mathematics.
- Earned Masters Degree in Professional Development in Education at Cardinal Stritch College, Milwaukee.
- Mr. Falk has returned to DMLC to attend several summer school sessions and three of the National Teachers' Conventions.
- Has taken advantage of numerous local workshops offered by the Synod and the Public sector.
- Calls include: (in order of past to present)
  - Sheboygan, WI - where he started a new school, teaching 1st through 3rd grades. As grades were added, he taught the upper levels.
  - Moline, IL - Principal and taught 7th through 9th grades.
  - Returned to Milwaukee in 1981 to teach 5th and 6th and served as Athletic Director.
  - Westland, MI - Principal and 7th and 8th grade teacher.
  - Presently called as Principal, 7th and 8th grade teacher and Athletic Director.
- Additional experience as:
  - Junior and Senior Choir Director
  - Vacation Bible School Coordinator
  - Coach for Basketball, Cross Country Track, Softball.
